An El Nido eSIM gets you online across the Philippines as soon as you arrive, with no roaming fees and activation in a single tap. El Nido sits on the island of Palawan, so coverage is strongest around the town itself and the beaches: you will stay connected planning island-hopping trips out to the Big and Small Lagoons and the Bacuit Bay tours. Signal can thin out on remote boat routes, but it holds around town, so rideshare, maps and travel apps work from your first minute ashore.

El Nido works best right in the town proper and along the main beach strip where the boats and restaurants gather, with a decent hold near the port. Being remote Palawan, expect it to fade fast on island-hopping tours out to the lagoons and on the rough roads toward Nacpan. Install the eSIM before you arrive and switch it on in town, keeping your home number for calls. Tip: message anyone waiting and download your maps before boarding a tour.
